Actually, I did put my name on Mr. Linky - for my other blog. I never thought about linking to this one, too. That's a good idea.

About the header trouble: I use the standard Blogger. I leave the testing of Blogger in Draft to more competent persons. However, I have seen several times that it supposed to be the same. I don't know how hosting elsewhere should affect it, because the main trouble stems from the maximum size the Blogger team has put on the width of pictures (740 pixels).
I had a blog with no fixed size and a wide picture with the text embedded as graphics in stead of a title. You can imagine how that looked when they cut the max. width to 740!
After trying all the fixes I understood (I'm no HTML or CSS wizard), I changed the template to a fixed format for the time being. I saw a post about a more flexible policy on the width of pictures is on the way, but no return to the way it was.
Maybe someone will give me a new book on HTML for Christmas? I have lost the old one :-)
